If you are soon to be a post matric student who has the desire to continue your studies at an Institution where you can study subjects such as dance, tap, singing and acting, then WAPA is certainly the place to be!

All the qualifications are accredited in England, Wales and Northern Ireland by Ofqual, WG and CCEA respectively. Trinity College London qualifications are assessed to the same standards across approximately 60 countries and the College is therefore in contact with numerous education authorities around the world to ensure that its candidates’ achievements are recognized globally.

Performing diplomas encourage candidates to be innovative and multi-skilled in musical theatre and is part of their ongoing personal and professional development.

Subjects including Dance, Tap, Singing, Acting, Musical Theatre history are studied to provide the students with a wide range of career opportunities after completing their four years of studies.

The international examinations take place in Roodepoort annually. Students are required to perform 20 – 30 minute presentations demonstrating all the practical skills learned in order to master the performing arts.

Classes in the different genres of the performing arts and musical theatre are also available for scholars as an extra-mural activity.

Annual shows, Eisteddfods, Arts Festivals and Public Speaking contests are all part of WAPA’s curriculum.
