GBP Studio is Owned & Operated by Gavin Blok and is conveniently situated in Beverley Gardens, Randburg area - close to Sandton in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Studio Rental includes 4x 500Ws “Real” Bowens studio Strobes (hanging from the roof & no cables lying on the floor), 1 large 1.7m Octa, a 70cm Beauty Dish and 2 Striplights, a few other basic modifiers and the white studio “shooting space” with 5m wide curved wall.

Additional backdrops (solid color & themed) can be used at an additional cost of R100 per drop. Bakedrops my only be used with the owner's assistance and usage must be prearranged.

Rental of the studio space is 100% private, NOT BRANDED and you can actually promote the space as “your very own” resident studio to your clients. We have many professional photographers doing this already.

You will get access to a dressing room, makeup room, open public space and a fully fitted kitchen. We also have safe parking for 5 cars under roof and a 3 more on the property – 8 cars in total.

We have two rates:
1.) A casual / non-commercial shoot (Photographer only & a single model / a single Family) paid Cash / SnapScan App only on the day,
2.) Commercial shoot. The rate applicable to your shooting requirements will be charged.

A commercial shoot or production (high traffic, ie. celebrity / editorial, brand promotion or corporate) – with more than 3 cars requiring parking, and a crew of more than 2 people (not being photographed, ie photographer, agent, makeup or assistants) involved - then the commercial agency / corporate rate will apply.
